Are they still going hard?
I walked past on Friday and only saw 4 or so people there, felt like a stink cunt seeing we had a sesh just down the road instead of going there too... _________________ Drink! Sex! Cigarettes!

| Not much happening there as far as I know, so have your next Friday afternoon sesh there and help get it going again. |

Will do most likely, not going to smoke there as I'm having a huge one with some mates in devonport that morning but will save a decent joint to pitch in _________________ Drink! Sex! Cigarettes!

Nah, i was with my nerd mates who went for a smoke up the road after deciding the lot at the 420 would most likely scab their bud...
I did have a decent look to see how it was going though.
Still not sure whether or not to rock up tomorrow _________________ Drink! Sex! Cigarettes!

When I was in Auckland in January I went to a 4.20 and the Daktas saw me coming and sat me straight down in the Cannabus . . . by the time I lurched out of that and over to the seats I was pretty darn There was a passel of homeless guys there, some tourists, budbeard from Dunedin, and about 8-10 others. Maybe I looked a bit suspect, I didn't announce who I was or anything, but as soon as I sparked up, everyone else did |

Hah yeah January was a while ago though. These days the protests are tiny for many reasons. Mainly because of the Winter. Its usually just the homeless dudes there, although thats not a bad thing, the regular dudes there are genuinely nice fellows, I still often stop by knowing I have somewhere to chill out and chat with familiar folks on a Friday afternoon. Seeing D. Grower there on Friday last was a nice surprise, good to catch up with him again.
Other reasons for the poor turnout include the downtime of the bus, egos and ego clashes, etc...fucking politics. For a political event it sure has a lot of unecessary politics. Which is why i'm happy being young and for the most part uninvolved with all that. The people who I'd come to hang out with and smoke up with are gone now, DAF is very much so missed, as is Bleak Vibrations. People like them were why people would come.
I feel that over the coming spring/summer i'd like to see the 420 return to its numbers properly again, with a new strategy of simplicity and focus on being there to get our point across while overall having a good time.
See you all this afternoon, should I find my way into town early enough. |

Sure thing.
Again, only myself and the regular homeless dudes showed up yesterday. I sat on the painted electronics box thing by the ramp for a good half hour with one of the big signs.
Come on people the weathers better now.

Hope so.
These protests got immense and glorious over previous spring/summer seasons. Lets get it back in full fire for the 3rd anniversary! |
