Looks like I'm booked in for the 1st Saturday of May 2007 for our annual smoke up at Albert Park.
From what I've heard there will be quite a few coming up from the East BOP.
Come on now, tell your mates, tell their mates, Be there!
Book your day off now, all you employees, mark the date on your calenders;
5TH MAY 2007
thats 2 and a tiny bit months from now, so plan plan, bring your king hitter bongs lol and a tinny, and prepare to smoke yourselves silly. _________________ Hardcore 4 Cannabis since 2004

Haha I have the NORML calendar in my room so it has all the special NORML days marked down. I will make an appearance.
Bob Marleys birthday is a tad unecessary lol.

| 420 day is before J-day... Is there much of a difference from normal 420's on the 20th of April? |

This is the MMM Million Marijuana March, J Day, Marijuana Day, this is it.
look it up on the web:
http://www.millionmarijuanamarch.com/mmm1_4.htm
Whereas - I wouldnt be too worried about 4/20 of the year :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/420_(cannabis_culture)
As it dosent happen here in NZ.
Be there or miss out. who the hell in their right mind wants to miss out on a annual celebration in the freedom for Cannabis?
A place where the whole country can see it, enmasse - "this is how common Cannabis is" - right in the middle of our biggest city.
I personally hope that this annual smoke up can become 10,000 people one day soon. _________________ Hardcore 4 Cannabis since 2004

Lol I was just asking :O
Dont worry, I will be at J-Day. Being on a Saturday should see pretty huge crowds I think. However... It will probably attract a lot of school students too, which might be bad. |

This sounds really cool.
Ok a n00b question, apart from concerts i have never really smoked publicly, just wondering how it all works. Are there problems with the law etc? Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question. |

| Haha during a break between my lectures today I sat by the hollow tree at Albert Park and two guys happily toked away, leaning on it, in clear sight (and smell) of everyone. |

| As far as I'm aware, unless you're a real tool then the chances of being arrested are pretty slim. I think the only guy to be arrested in recent years was a dude who offered a cop a toke. |

I'll be there... it's funny how many smokers really don't know what it is about... i didn't till i decided to check it out last year (out of curiousity... nothing else better to do that day)... and i was pleasantly surprised.
but what i want to know too is whether it is acceptable to go there empty handed? NOt becasue i stinge... but just because i really really can't help it?! and i hope to reduce my chances of getting back in a situation where i can't help it...
(i may be beating around the MJ bush but i know that you catch my drift....) _________________ Men are from Mars; Women are from TimTams. |
