Use this forum to post messages on any aspect of growing marijuana. What are your favourite fertilisers? Do you have any problems with a plant? Have you tried out Marc Emery's mail order seed service? What do you think of them?
cheers, webmaster@norml.org.nz
P.S. You may find that other more established growing forums will be better for your growing question.
DJ knife tipped us off to the Growing articles on the Cannabis Culture Forum.

Try the Switched on Gardener Forum thread on seed banks Posted: Sun May 11, 2003 11:03 pm |

I honestly don't know anything about ordering seeds, and I don't want to speculate. I'm hoping someone else will say what they think.
What I do know though, is that there have been discussions on this on the Switched On Gardener Forums. It's under Seeds and then Seed Banks.
At the end of the thread, Herb, the Switched On Gardener himself, offers his advice:

It depends which country the seeds are being sold from
(it might not be illegal to sell them there)
and which country the seeds are being imported into
(it might not be illegal to posess seeds there)
However it is illegal to posess seeds in New Zealand, even low THC ones intended for eating, remember the Hempstore had their seed museli stolen by customs.

Emery does always deliver and his stealth is good, dont buy dutch of him though as he's overpriced for those.
The main reason emery has a bad name on the net is because of internet trolls from seedsdirect ( gypsy and his trolls ) and hightimes mag who he is in competition with.
Seedsdirect stiffed me and I wont order of them again, seedsdirect trolloing almost stuffed the www.overgrow.com site and they have now banned seedbank threads because of the skullduggery and shit which was going on.
planetskunk do sound good even if it is a little weird for a 'aussie site' to deal in euro's, I presume its the currency they pay for the seeds themselves. |

Hey all-
I just paid for seeds at www.PlanetSkunk.com. I hope they are faster than emery. I also ordered from Mark Emery almost 3 weeks ago, still waiting. I bought some Advanced Nutirents and it only took 1 week to process and ship my order to me. They both are from Canada, so why does it take so long getting a few magik beans from EMERY?
I found that Planet Skunk was a very nice website, easy to use and understand. I do think they could use more inverntory though. But over all, seems good. They make you use PayPal to pay for the seeds which was great 4 me- I already have a paypal acct. Its sometimes hard to pay for an item through paypal for the first time-
I will post again with folow up once emery's seeds arrive and also the seeds from planetskunk : |

yes I believe so. Just use a different name and have it sent to a PO Box number, or even a friends house.
the seedbanks are very stealthy |

I have to disagree with sending seeds with a different name to a P.O box address as most P.O box addresses will only hold mail with the correct name of the owner/leaser/whatever.
It is much easier to send them to your address but with a different name on them and keep them on the mantel or something for a couple of weeks incase of "interference".
Although you could be quite snakey and lease a P.O box address with a different name, Im not sure if it would work though,
All in all, go with a method you trust |

Hay Rickman, I'd be interested in hearing when they arrive....ie how long they took from ordering to receiving them. Did you use your regular address or set one up? _________________ I was smooooookin, now I'm eating!! |
