So how long now has the Cannabus been off the road when we are six weeks away from an election? Obviously the administraters of NORML will give it no financial support and are happy to see it parked up and become a relic.
Supporters are requested to donate toward the cause, but it is like poring money into a black hole, no financial policy or balance sheets of where the money goes are published to my knowledge.
Supporters could donate to getting the bus back on the road when the administrators have allready decided it is a dead duck. A bit of policy and honest attitude would not go amiss.
I would of thought that selling a magazine thats publication and distribution costs were previously covered by advertising would easily get the bus back on the road with lots to spare.
But we just do not know and are treated like mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed............... |

I have been assured that the Cannabus is not a dead duck, that donations to the bus account do not vanish into a black hole, and with some more support the bus will be back on the road.
So that was good news to receive. |

Weeding of the Century
Lord and Lady Bedford of Bedfordshire England are pleased to announce the engagement and imminent marriage of their 39 year old spinster daughter Maryjane to well known Daktavist and Daktologist 58 year old Dakta Green.
Maryjane is the 420th daughter of Lord Truck Bedford and Lady Min (nee) Bus.
Dakta Green denies any parentage; he says he is just a bastard. (But a nice one)
Maryjane and Dakta Green have been inseparable since meeting a year ago. “She was just sitting in dusty sadness when I first saw her” said Green. “I thought, this is not Norml, she should get out more.” They started going out and about.
Romance bloomed when they travelled together to Dunsterdam in March this year.
The nuptials, dubbed the Weeding of the Century, will take place in their new home ‘The Daktory’ in New Lynn on 1 November at 3pm.
Their many friends are being invited to attend and take part in a world record ‘hotbox’ attempt.
Following the nuptials they are taking some norml friends and ‘honeymooning’ in Wellington, taking part in the Norml Annual Conference and smoking up at Parliament yet again on 10 November. As a new Government is formed – we will be seen!!!
Invitations are $20 and will be available from Thursday 16th October from either,
The Daktory,
80 Delta Avenue, New Lynn,
Telephone; 09 948 1049 (mobile 027 337 1910)
or
The Hemp Store,
Victoria Street, Auckland.
Bring your buddies or bring your money
Barbeque weeding munchies included.
Dress as you would expect someone to dress at your weeding. Fancy dress is good.
Full details with your ticket/s purchased. _________________ legal by 2010 |

| I am without a partner at the moment, is it okay to bring along my blow up doll? It is good to have something to talk to when out socialising. |

Its ok to bring a partner, blow up, blow down, plastic or wood. I don't care. It's a fund raiser. As long as they have a $20 ticket. Maryjane needs the $.
LOL
by the way---
the weeding starts at 3pm
hotbox starts at 4.20pm
weeding breakfast at 5pm
music, DJ, live entertainment till all hours.
Our home is an Alcohol free zone

Please remember a photo or two of the occasion please Dakta, seeing as the, ahem, 'guestlist' already kinda justifies the interest |

No alcohol at a wedding, no prospect of a half pissed bridesmaid, or in my case a fully pissed matron of honour.
Alcohol is probably a better substance for the venting of opinions and expressing desires in wedding or funeral situations.
But hey, hot boxing the Cannabus and the resulting calm and peaceful behaviour is not without it's merits. |

Well today I took a stroll into town and honoured my pledge back on
page 18 and deposited 500 bucks into the Cannabus account.
Nice to be able to make it a weeding present and possibly attend the nuptials. May the happy couple spend much time together and travel far and wide, but when at home have local outings.
Big buses are not cheap to run and obviously the dedicated activists that are putting her back on the road are in need of any donations.
ASB bank, Norml account, 12-3057-0594667-03 worked for me. |

I dropped them a bit of a lesser amount today as well ,
They need our support..
The boys have guts and have put in a lot of effort..
A few donations would go well.
They are very supportive of med users so don't let them down.

| After adjusting the brakes and a little tweak on one of the fuel line nuts, it was off to the testing station for a recheck which she passed with flying colours. Now that she is all legal it is off to Queen St tonight to provide some ' HAPPINESS ' and to promote THE DAKTORY. The club that celebrates the Cannabis culture. Thanks for the donations, they were sorely needed. Maryjane has a trip to Wellington coming up, more help is needed to get her there. |
