So many people say (and think) that Shpongle, Infected Mushroom and 1200 mics etc are good, but they really really arent. There is soooo much better psychedelic music out there, soooo much more. Like the new album by Ra, 9th, which is REAL psychedelic music, none of this kiddies stuff with the retarded basslines, or like Amithaba Buddha's debut album, Goa Gate, which is pretty good too I reckon. Or how about the Dimension 5 album that Suntrip records just repressed, that is some awesome awesome psychedelic music. Please, children, if you are going to include trance on your list of music to listen to when stoned, actually go and find some that is good with depth and real psychedelic substence.
Anyway...my list of good psychelic music to listen to while stoned or tripping...

VA - Pure Planet Vol. 2

Theres so much more good real psychedelic trance out there, not too much these days, but its out there if you know where to look.

Im a classic rock lover at heart, so my favourite albums to listen to while baked are
Wish you were here - Pink Floyd
Mothership - Led Zeppelin
Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd
White Album - The Beatles.
New stuff is also good, Metallica, Tool, Amon Amarth and Disturbed if im looking for something a little heavier. I find that if Im alone when stoned, my tastes change really quickly, and ill only listen to half a song before wanting to listen to something else. This happen to anyone else? |
