Looks like you beat me to the draw paula .
Well done, Tony.
I've always found that it's very difficult to predict just how people will react when the subject of CLR is raised - sometimes those who you think might be supportive turn out to be anti and vice versa too (although more often it's the vice versa than the former). |

I have had talked with Church groups, Service groups and a host of others , but its pre-determined its going to be about medpot , so the audience is usually not anti .I found it easy to see outside support through rose coloured glasses by the positive , supportive responses .. no action of course .. just tacit support.
But to see the positive reaction from random groups really warms my heart.
The frustrating thing is knowing , none of them will actually do anything constructive , it's a low priority fraught with negative connotations, best avoided .

so basically in my opinon if ALCP had the funds to advertise we'd actually get somewhere. The majority of cannabis smokers in N.Z dont even know the name ALCP let alone what it abriviates. I was talking to some fellow smokers the other day and they all reckon to vote for the greens because they still think that they are trying to change the cannabis laws and didnt believe me that they were doing 1/5th of fuck all.
i suppose it only gets better and better but its a very slow process! |

The part of the New World Order party message that really made me was at the end when they asked for donations towards the $1000 that they need to actually stand in the election. How bizarre! A political party address for a political party that may not even stand in the election. |

Actually I'm pretty sure we are only allowed to advertise using the money given to use by the electoral commision. We will be having about 50 ads on C4 so that should be better than a kick in the pants. _________________ Tick the Leaf - www.alcp.org.nz

Jules, I suspect Baccy is referring to the $20,000 limit that each candidate can use for electoral spending, and how effective we'd be if we could raise equivalent monies to Labour and National through fundraising. _________________ This is our year - TICK THE LEAF: www.alcp.org.nz
