Yes we do have head shops in N.Z. where you can buy pipes, papers, and vaporizers etc., I have imported by mail a couple of vapour genies from the USA into N.Z. with no problem.
However if I was travelling internationally I would never carry a vaporizer or any other drug paraphenalia with me or in my luggage
Do not have any cause to creat a blip on their radar.
Buy what you want after you have arrived. |

I'd recommend SOG as well.
I've had seeds imported from overseas (http://www.hempdepot.ca/) so you might find that posting laws are lax enough that you could post your items ahead of you and have someone here look after your gear until you come over or alternatively have one of your mates from home send your gear over after you arrive.
Just a thought, could be overly risky though. |

I've imported both a vaporgenie and a Purple-days vaporizer.
Anything that has a bong look to it could be caught by customs.
My next vap to import is a Da Buddha (DBV) but that might have to wait until next year. Fuck I'd like to bring a contaner load of them in ... reckon they'd sell like hotcakes! |

This looks kinda fun for those of you who like to tinker with a bit o good ol number 8 fencing wire technology:

Another simple way is to have "cool" spots. Simply heat your knives, take them off the heat and wait till they lose any glow and wait a couple more seconds... With practice you should get a pleasent "piney" taste and all that should be left is a dark brown crumbly bit.
I guess you could even attach some hightemp digital heat sensors to spotknives? Hehe I seems to be getting some good ideas for home projects... |

New Zealand customs website states:
"Cannabis utensils (such as bongs, hash and head pipes, hubble bubbles, hookahs, and roach clips with a pincer or tweezer action) are prohibited imports and liable to seizure on arrival."
i have read somewhere on there site it saying "anything that has/could or can be used for the consumption of marijuana is prohibited",which seems to include hookah pipes, grandfather pipes and allsorts ofother crap that couldbe used for consuming marijuana(esp with a lil kiwi engenuity)....
but 1 would think posting wouldbe a much safer option regardless,and/or if you can break the vaporiser down into 2 parts or something they cant stop it surely as it cant be used in that state for 'comsumption of marijuana'... |
