As I suspected, my visit was a non event, in that I was totally ignored. After I set up and took photos, I openly smoked a joint in the car park. Interestingly, although there was good traffic flow, there were no toots.
I stayed for 42 min.
Next week Helen Clarke's Office, 10 am Sat. Some support would be nice. |

niceone fellas, john key is indeed a noob, but im not convinced aunti Helen is much better at the end of the day given Labours big Uturn on reviewing cannabis law and pandering to global corruption (war on cannabis)despite knowing better...
hey love the car, dakta_grower. what sort of decals have you got there? where can i get some? As candidate, I am also wondering how a white nissan bluebird with ALCP campaign livery and loud speakers might go down in Auckland Central? |

Helen Clarke went to great lengths to fight for the legal freedom of male homosexuals to no longer be restrained by an unjust morality based law.
Likewise she went to great lengths to to support a womans right to choose as to whether or not she had an abortion, the freedom to choose being the rally call.
Likewise she supported legal protection against the smacking of a child.
Like Anderton, Dunne,Peters, Helen Clarke is happy to see a man in a wheel chair sent to prison for growing his own med-pot in a wardrobe rather than consume pharmacy prescriptions or alcohol to alleviate his condition.
After nine years it is hard to escape the conclusion that Helen Clarke is a political bitch not worthy of a vote. But then I am far from being a tory or National party supporter. It is ALCP for me.

It was another great day outside Helen's office. It doesn't matter if they are there or not. The point is not so much to harass the pollies themselves - which can actually backfire and make them even more into "tough on crime" slogans - but to provide inspiration for all the people driving by.
They see that "someone" is doing "something" and will feel a bit more positive and a bit more likely they might do something too. Otherwise most people go though their lives secretly hoping for a law change but not seeing many people doing anything about it, which in turn makes it less likely they will do anything.
These protests are about showing there are some people who give a fuck. Even if it is just two or three of us, and the rest say they're into it but make up excuses or choose to do other things that day. Everyone can make the time if they want to, and everyone can come up with $5 gas to get there. If you are into law reform you should come along and show your support. No more excuses! Grrrrrrrr!!!!

Tau Henare's office.
Best location yet, center of the shopping center on Te Atatu Rd. Lots of foot traffic.
Chris Carter's office is on Gt North Rd, just before the shopping center. |

As I have had an unexpected drivers license issue, Dakta Green (Ken) drove me to Tau Henare's office today. Kevin also joined us.
This proved to be a great location. A lot of mags were given out.
People stopped and chatted, Three anti's, Two saw things differently, after conversation, one had a fixed mind set and didn't want to discuss it further.
Ken, promoting the new Maryjane's Supporters Club that he is opening soon. More news on this from Dakta Green in the next couple of days. After the protest we went to Maryjane's new home where I preformed some minor surgery (cut out some rust and welded in a patch), she is almost ready for a C.O.F. inspection. However funds are desperately needed to run her, so, dig deep people, if you want to see her back out there. |

| Good shit Brian. Pleased to hear about the surgery and mobile protests. Ken informed me about some sort of 'weeding'? Sounds...interesting. |
