| I arrived early, set up the signs, put out mags and nobody came. Personally I think it should stay dead. It's time, I think, for something new. Possibly Sat/ Sun. I throw this open for ideas. |

I smoked all mine at my personal Albert park 420 on thursday afternoon . Had no money to get anymore. Should of just came along to socialise but felt like a bludger "Dakta_grower"
Read in one of the older mags there were 420s on Wensday?
That would be great for me . Payday hahaha

WTF..... This is a bit of a shame. Not from Akl personally but hopefully this does not die. It was a good open display of people saying they disagree with the current state of the MJ laws. I know that there have been some arrests there but considering the amount of time that it has/had been running very few relatively. This was a good position to be in. The Filth basically knew what was happening and chose to ignore it.
The problem when you let things like this go is that when you try to resurrect them the Filth are probably going to change the rules of engagement. i.e. It's been going on for so long now it's not worth the paper work to arrest every single person every single week .... but if it stops they might just decide to nip it in the "bud"
Hope the good work done to date is not frittered away .... _________________ Admit nothing, deny everything and make counter-accusations |

I'm unsurprised. I'd love to be returning to it regularly over the warmer seasons but I can't if I must work.
I dont think it's worth burying, but I highly doubt it'll ever be what it was. |

work appears to be one of the biggest negatives regarding the 420, maybe it should be a weekend thing. _________________ A pain free day the marijuana way.

If there was to be a weekend one would the friday one still be on? I never really go anymore but it'd be a shame never to be able to go until i get my licence due to aucklands terrible weekend public transport _________________ Drink! Sex! Cigarettes!

these things tend to ebb and flow. 4:20 will rise again or morph into something better. in the meantime put the energy somewhere else? eg the outside Key electoral office protests. or even outside Auckland Herald or TV1, or maybe support the alcp candidate(s)!!
i dont know if the Auckland City Council is going to try to shut down a candidate speaking in Aotea Square at 12 noon on friday(as the Chch city council tried on in High St. last week), but i am keen to give it a go and throw a cat amonst the pigeons ...Hey also as of tonight we also have someone very keen to stand in North Shore - Aucklands first ever ALCP electorate candidates!
speil in Aotea sq will cover relevance of ALCP cottage industry to NZ's LAW AND ORDER CRISES, and/or 'how to pull the pin on gangs'....could be controversial...or just plain common sense....
and general Benefits of pot law reform across policy spectrum.
the ALCP is still open for nominations btw, until noon 14th Oct.
Electorates are pretty much on a first in first served basis (deposit of $300 required by electoral office).. it would be good to get 30 or 40 or more names to endorse ALCP policy on the list even if realistically only 10 or so are likely to get elected (lol). |
