i did lodge a complaint online and spoke to my lawyer. he said it would be a lengthy and pricey case if it ever went to court.. dont think i could afford the costs. besides it has been 2 months and i have yet to recieve a reply..

Not even a standard acknowledgement ? Can you remember where ? Was it on this site http://www.ipca.govt.nz/ here http://www.ipca.govt.nz/Site/makeacomplaint/makeacomplaint.aspx

If anyone else uses this to make a complaint make sure you KEEP a COPY and the DATE of what you wrote. Most statutory organisations such as this are bound by law to reply to you within 20 working days.

Also, try not to let a lawyer scare you off like that either. He is right that it would be pricey if it came to court. That is it could IF you use a lawyer. But if you are clear about what happened and have even a little bit of intestinal fortitude you can represent yourself. Its not that hard.

KEN maybe you're going to get an apology from the Police Commissioner icon_eek.gif icon_eek.gif

Since they got their snouts and trotters so deeply into the trough that they because a Minister of the Crown. Its an automatic honorific to indicate 'higher' status than ordinary MPs icon_lol.gif Of course to get that 'high status' they must have extra ability - to keep quiet or look the other way when advancing self interest - involved.
Gee I seem a bit crabby tonight icon_lol.gif

Nothing happening at Albert Park these days - the only ones who turn up are the street people. Waiting for spring to start up again - or maybe we need to get DAF back, to remind us what staunch means....

icon_wink.gif You were the seed that bore the fruit, the paper that held the herb together, the flame that sparked the joint.

Got a bit worried when you went quiet. Glad the cold hasn't extinguished the fire.

those few hot northern winters softened me up too much. cold led to a lung infection led to a touch of pneumonia and a bad reaction to the bloody antibiotics.........no more living soft where there is no frost.
