Well glad to say the trip was once again a lot of fun,
The entrance to the Bulldog hotel,I can highly recommend this hotel, the staff here have treated me very well on my last 3 visits.
The coffeeshop Bulldog energy next door to the hotel, the wife and I arrived in Amsterdam on the evening train from Paris at 11.30pm and I was glad to see it was open to 1pm.Got some temple ball hash and some Silver haze,I have read a lot of bad reports about the Bulldog coffeeshops,eg tourist trap, rip off merchants, but I was more than happy with my purchase.
The La canna coffeeshop, well what can I say we had a lovely meal here and a pat on the back for the kitchen staff, also brought some orange bud from here,I spent a total of 65 euro's in this place, only to be treated like a piece of trash by the waitress,I'm sure she is wondering why I did not give her a tip.so heres a tip for her, stop being a sour faced bitch and treat your customers with a bit more respect. |

The 420 cafe, well I really wish I could remember more about this place, but I had taken a packet of Thai mushrooms about 2 hours before, lets just say I remember going in,but don't remember leaving, the wife assures me I behaved myself.
Here I'am outside Nirvana's only shop now,as I noticed the T-shirt shop is no longer open. Its me potty guys let me in.( I keep on knocking but I can't get in.ha ha) |

Free Adam, went back again this year, found them too be a bit pushy about having to buy their smoke and it was no different this year, but it was good value and did the job.
The Sensi coffeeshop, for a coffeeshop that don't sell weed it amazes me how much business this place doe's ,had a great discussion with a guy from New York called Ray about who was the better seed company Sensi or Nirvana,we decided to agree to disagree. and smoked another joint. |

Brings back memories...
Which I'd taken more pics...actually wish I could remember any of my 3 trips there!!
99% of people I speak to re Netherlands only go to Amsterdam, which is absolutly fine but I actually perferred the coffee shops in Maastrict myself.
Wouldnt it be fantastic if we had dedicated cycling lanes etc like they do.For a flat country it was nice to cycle through. |

I agree if you have the time, try a few of the coffeeshops outside Amsterdam,
Willie wortels sativa in Haarlem comes to mind. |
