Thought some of the folks here would enjoy the current thread over at The Shroomery; we've been posting uploads to as many experimental/avant garde/just plain weird/untypical metal albums as we can.

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=12&Number=7502516&page=0&fpart=1

To unzip the files, you'll need WinRAR. You can download it for free trial (same as WinZip).

If any of the links I posted have expired and you really want to hear a certain album, let me know (obviously my nickname is Sheepish).

The actual genres covered have been ranging from post rock/metal, doom/stoner, instrumental, experimental black metal, ambient/drone and whatever else that is not typically straight forward metal/rock.
