I'll be there... it's funny how many smokers really don't know what it is about... i didn't till i decided to check it out last year (out of curiousity... nothing else better to do that day)... and i was pleasantly surprised.

but what i want to know too is whether it is acceptable to go there empty handed? NOt becasue i stinge... but just because i really really can't help it?! and i hope to reduce my chances of getting back in a situation where i can't help it...

(i may be beating around the MJ bush but i know that you catch my drift....)

Yeah I remember I first heard about J-Day in school. All the kids saying how they were gonna wag school and go hunt down a joint in the park, and saying shit like "its the only day of the year in NZ when marijuana is legal" lol.

so why is it the authorities close one eye on that day? wouldn't it be equivalent of setting your own trap?

not that i mean it's bad... but it really puzzles me.

nauster: They don't have enough cell space to house everyone from j day, plus they know we will all be roaring lions and drag the court system down icon_biggrin.gif
