Thought some of you may find this interesting viewing, especially those who know just how useful hemp is. It's a big file, (36.2MB), so a fast connection recommended.
This US government propoganda film made during WWII (1942) touting the virtues of hemp. The film was aimed at farmers at a time when the miltary was facing a shortage of hemp, it shows how hemp is grown and processed into rope and other products.
Funny how uncle sam appreciates the value of hemp when the US is at war, as well the many years they used it prior to this period. I'm suprised that the US hasn't tried to eradicate this clip as well...
Can someone please tell me why we going through years of hemp trials? |
