I'm quoting Jim Anderton from the above article...
"He dismissed claims of tardy Government action, saying resources could not be put into fighting a drug till it had been proved harmful."

Hasn't P already been proved harmful?

Where is all the scientific evidence proving cannabis harmful to justify putting $20m worth of resources in to fighting cannabis?

I can't see how one could dismiss claims of tardy government action when it took the government 4 years to come out with the select committee report in to cannabis, finally reaching the conclusion that prohibition is not working, and still no urgent action has been taken to prevent more peoples lives being ruined by prohibition.
