After extreme fines, and one too many cars being impounded because i have no license, I decided to go and get my learners license today.
I got to the front of the line after a long ass wait, and i get some Trainee idiot indain lady who doesnt know what the fuck is going on. I hadnt smoked all day.
She eventually got to the eye test (they do this BEFORE the written portion). She told me to read out a few lines. I think she may have just fucked it up, because it was all blurry. But honestly, why would anyone ever need to read anything that small?? It seemed fucken mental to me.
Long story short, I have to get my eyes checked, and get some document from the optometrist that'll cost me $45 more, on top of the $79 that the test will cost me.
Maybe i should do what my workmate did.. Drive at 40k/h at all times, have a kid when im 23, and dont get a learners till im 28...

Sorry, forgot to mention an important fact....
I think that my fuckt vision is caused by cigarette smoking (and apparently my 'father' had glaucoma)... I dont think that pot caused it at all... but does it??
I didnt even get to the "light test" of the eye exam (no clue what it is, but people keep tryna tell me about it). Has anyone recently sat an eye test at AA or VTNZ? Are the words extremly small, or did the trainee lady fuck it up??

Not that anyone cares, but I got my licence.
My stoner parnoid theory was CORRECT. The stupid indian trainee lady was showing me the wrong sized test. I went to the opptomertrist and they told me that to drive in NZ you have to be able to read letters THIS BIG, as opposed to
this big like the idiot lady tried to make me read...
yea, rock n roll, no more cars going to impound and never coming back out for me.. EXTREME
