A new totem beast has been revealed to us! One we must all aspire to embody. It is the Freedom Phoenix!
As we burn down the structures of Prohibition with the fires of truth and justice, a golden egg shall hatch within our weary warrior souls...
From the ashes of inequity shall arise the Flaming Phoenix of Freedom. That’s us herb-folk living without oppression. We shall lead the way for a better, greener Aotearoa. Then we can teach our fellow Kiwis how to use the herb for medicine and spiritual development. We will set up an ORGANIC, GE FREE hemp industry that provides nutritious food, hard wearing clothing and quality building materials to the nation. That is the Flight of the Freedom Phoenix.
For that to happen we must all start making practice flights now. BE a Freedom Phoenix. Collect as many of the Keys to Freedom as you can... just some of these are listed below:
The Freedom Letter
Write a letter to your MP telling them you favour law reform and asking them for their exact position on the matter. If you get a form reply, send them another letter. Keep bugging the over-paid public servant until they give you a proper response. Tell NORML what they said.
The Court of Freedom
The Law Courts are pressure points where the Law gets tested. Hit them. Join in the Clog the Courts campaign, fight prosecutions and support your Roaring Lion mates in court. Let’s fill courts with stoners demanding a Not Guilty verdict. Let’s stun some judges. Its time they woke up and smelt the resins. If you get the opportunity, be a Trojan Horse juror. The magic words are... “NOT GUILTY!”
Freedom is NORML
Join NORML. We need the cash and we need the numbers. Paranoia does not maketh the Pheonix fly.
There are many more Keys to Freedom. The point is Get Active! Its a cliche, but no less true: Stand up and FIGHT for your rights. Freedom never comes without a fight.
